BAST is an audio-visual project initiated in 1998 by Aldo Ivančić, former member of the band Borghesia, and Vuk Kraković, former violinist of 2227. BAST music is a journey to the urban-pagan trance that overrides the boundaries of genres in its content and form. It is not ethno, rock, jazz, techno, hip hop, avant-garde or pop, but rather a continuous search for the balance between chaos and order. The BAST collective is: Gal Gjurin (bass guitar, trumpet), Andraž Mazi (guitar), Matjaž Manček (guitar), Vuk Kraković (violin), Boštjan Gombač (MC), Wattican (voice, clarinet and flute), Marjan Stanić (drums and percussion), Aldo Ivančić (programming, mix and production) and Janez Janša (former Davide Grassi - video and graphic design). After its first CD [[Bast]], the second one, The Secret Life of the Next Door Neighbour, was produced and released by the [[Aksioma Institute]].
